Discussions for our class will be graded - they will contribute 10% of your final grade in the course.  You will be given a discussion question that you will respond to.  Then, at your discretion (based on the grade you would like for the discussion) - you will respond to up to 3 additional classmates on their discussion post.  The grading scale is based on the following:

1.  Your own individual response only - 7 points

2.  Your own individual response and responding to 1 additional classmate - 8 points

3.  Your own individual response and responding to 2 additional classmates - 9 points

4.  Your own individual response and responding to 3 additional classmates - 10 points

5.  NO RESPONSE - 0 points
